Alexander M. Watson

Alexander Watson is a partner and resides in the Glendale office. Alex is a professional liability and business litigator who holds a wealth of expertise and experience in complex litigation in State and Federal Courts, with a focus and emphasis in medical malpractice defense, elder abuse litigation and health care litigation. With over 20 years of litigation experience, he has represented a variety of individual and corporate clients, including governmental entities, hospitals, manufacturers, individual physicians, police departments, group practices, insurance companies, and small and large businesses. He has litigated matters involving allegations of insurance bad faith, construction defects, products liability, breach of contract, multi-party business contract disputes, civil rights infringement/excessive force allegations, defamation claims, fraud, legal malpractice and as previously mentioned, claims of medical malpractice, elder and dependent adult abuse.

Alex is no stranger to trials, having been deeply involved in and sharing trial duties with Partners Stephen Fraser and Michael O’Flaherty in multifaceted, long and difficult trials of wrongful death and elder abuse cases, as well as the highly publicized wrongful death, six week trial brought about by the family of late actor, comedian John Ritter. The demand in this case was a whopping $67 million.

Alex also co-tried Zhao vs. Chen, M.D. et al. (LASC case no. BC462870) to a defense verdict where at trial, plaintiff counsel asked the jury to award plaintiff a sum of $ 5,500,000.00.
