Susan E. Shube
Susan Shube has over 20 years of experience defending complex high exposure general and professional liability claims. Her principal area of specialization is healthcare litigation, including medical negligence, wrongful death, elder and adult dependent abuse, premises liability, personal injury and general liability. As part of her healthcare litigation practice, she also provides consulting services to healthcare facilities on issues including medical staff privileges, the creation and/or modification of policies and procedures, and representing acute care hospitals in administrative hearings.
Her extensive litigation experience includes all phases of litigation, such as investigation, discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation and settlement negotiations, oral argument, trial preparation and trial. Her comprehensive knowledge acquired from defending hundreds of medical negligence cases has proven invaluable to her professional liability clients, that range from health plans and health systems to hospitals, individual physicians, physician groups, insurance companies, and long term health facilities, including residential care facilities for the elderly, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities.
